Overture
- The third most widely grown variety in the Czech Republic and the second most grown variety in the Slovak Republic

- It is resistant to Powdery mildew –Mlo. gene
- Moderate resistance to Barley leaf rust
High yields in all areas, even in dry conditions – tillering ability is very well and is able to manage well with a lower number of plants in the given area. It has a highly productive ear and a very good resistance to lodging. It is also suitable for wet areas. In years with excessive rainfall, the variety performs well and is still resistant to lodging and it has a significant effect on a good health of the stand.
The variety has a large grain size and a large and heavy ear, (high TGW- 49g), that is why it is recommended to apply a plant growth regulator (according to the local conditions), for the reduction of crop height and to make plant stems stronger .
