AURADUR is the second most cultivated winter durum variety in Austria, right after SAMBADUR. This is mainly due to the ideal combination of yield performance, yield reliability, decent stability and excellent quality properties, especially falling number values, glassiness, viscosity and yellow pigment values. It has a good resistance to lodging and the high proportion of glassy grains. Its high level of protein guarantees the interest of commodity traders.
